Custom Orthotics + material design

Podiatrists use orthoses to offload injured, or painful structures.

What are custom orthotics?

There is a balance of firm and soft materials that are used to support the structure and cushion it and ultimately assist in the healing process.

Orthoses are also prescribed to allow you to participate in your activity, without the structure becoming overloaded and painful, or injured.

Why do they need to be customised?

Football boots, work shoes, court shoes and high heels all need different designs to suit the footwear they are going in, so the prescription can change for these types of footwear.
